Artist Bio:

I live in Hastings along the Trent Severn Waterway. I am retired, so have time to watch the boats go by. I especially enjoy the early mornings when all is quiet but the birds.

Art and painting is my all-consuming pastime. If I’m not painting, I’m thinking and planning the next project.

The river provides wildlife to observe, deer, foxes, herons, osprey, otters, turtles, and the odd beaver. It is all so beautiful and inspirational. 

Oils are my main medium, but will work in acrylics when the drying time is shorter. I began over 30 years ago. I take on commissions and teach an oil painting class to very talented students, from beginners to intermediate.

This design depicts the Ranney Gorge Suspension Bridge in Campbellford.
