Taste of the TSW

With 80% of the Trent-Severn Waterway found within Kawarthas Northumberland, our communities have come together to honour its importance throughout the region. The Taste of the TSW program invites participating bakeries, breweries, restaurants, and cafés to prepare a special recipe inspired by the Waterway and showcasing local flavours.

Want to take a meal or a beverage by the water? At many establishments along the Trent-Severn Waterway, you can. Many Trail Town Friendly restaurants are only a stone’s throw from the water, and the following are particularly close or allow you to tie up right alongside the patio.

The Royal Moose Grill & Waterfront Patio has a docking facilities, so it’s step onto that spacious waterfront patio—although the cottage atmosphere of the interior may tempt you too.
